I saw this young woman on the bus, and really liked her look, especially her gorgeous boots. As we chatted we learned that we live a half a block from each other. London is a very tiny place indeed.
She got her boots from Modcloth , which is a website I try to avoid because I know I would find many things that I would want to own.
Wow, those boots are amazing. I'm always browsing modcloth...probably a bad thing, because I find too many lovely things I want, haha.

Uh-oh...I clicked on the Modcloth link! Looks super cute at first glance - I think I just heard my credit card groan! haha :o)
ReplyDeleteOh yeah, love those boots!! I'm a sucker for well made and a bit on the masculine shoes. In fact, men's dress shoes are so gorgeous. If I worked in the fashion industry it would be selling or designing them. I think I got my first exposure to the well made shoe when I was a tiny kid and my mom always had nuns hanging around the house. They're shoes were mostly squeaky leather oxfords with a 2 inch chunky heel.
ReplyDeleteThose boots are incredible and that's coming from a dyed-in-the-wool heel wearer! She looks fab, the waistcoat, the hair, the smile! x
ReplyDeleteThere's your stellar 'eye' again! The boots are a knockout and the rest of her ensemble is fabulous as well. Her bag picks up one of the colors in the boots, which I'm sure was no accident.
ReplyDeleteI like the boots myself!
ReplyDeleteI love the booties too! Have a similar pair bought at a vintage shop. BTW every one in Annecy wears booties - the French are so stylish, yet oddly so practical (never thought the two could go together) about their footwear! :)
ReplyDeleteWay to go Olga! Enjoying the boots indeed!
