And now, for your viewing pleasure.....
Many Thanks to Lynda Carter, in the guise of Wonder Woman from the 1970's television series, for the inspiration for today's outfit. I love this video of her using a skateboard to pursue the bad guys. It would be so cool to be able to spin around and suddenly be wearing roller skates and protective padding!!
Yep, you're ready to save the world!! At least you made me laugh! Just in case I need saving in the future do I call out, "Forest City Fashioniiiiiiistaaaaaa!"
ReplyDeleteLove it!
ReplyDeleteSO awesome. I love how her hair doesn't blow around!
ReplyDeleteYour outfit is spectacular - I especially love the built in safety pants and the belt!

Kick Ass! Love your silver cuff for bullet deflecting. Pew pew!
ReplyDeleteYou are my Saturday Superhero Inspiration! The cuff created by Debra couldn't be more perfect for your world saving activities. Have you created your own superwoman series???
ReplyDeleteThat is a really professional super heroin outfit! I see some cool rings there. Those might come useful for coordination when throwing a directed punch.
ReplyDeleteCan I call out for you too when in need? Do you take distress calls from oversees? Do you have a call center set up?
You are a great inspiration! I've been dreaming of becoming a part time superhero for ages.
Maria
Wonder Woman indeed! You've thought of everything--the shorts!
ReplyDeleteThat used to be my favourite show as a kid but you're even cooler than her! x

Shazam! PLUS Apollo shoes! You are truly equipped! You vanquish style slackness wherever you roam. Again, I love those specs!
ReplyDeletePlease read 'heroine' for 'heroin'. Thanks. It must be hilarious to read me. I'd better call you Wonder Woman like the rest.
ReplyDeleteVery nice Shelley!
ReplyDeleteNice colorful, comfortable outfit and i like that you linked it to Wonder Woman
I love the specs ! did you have problems when you put your prescription in? my optician is reticent in putting my prescription in the vintage frame i bought recently!
You go, girl! (I dressed up as WW for Halloween in the mid 70s as a girl - my all time FAVE costume). Love the belt and the huge cuff and the colour combo, it all just rocks. :)
ReplyDeleteOh this is so brilliant! If you caught me with the lasso of truth, I would be forced to admit - I have cuff and leg envy! You are indeed a Superheroine, Shelley! xxxx
ReplyDelete"She's gaining" Yeeeeahhhh they oughta give YOU an award Shelly darling for your amulets of steel and clever skirt/short arrangement!!!! The Phoenix says that when he was a boy, Wonder Woman was "for girls" and as a wee laddie he watched if for the cars - heheeee! Older boys watched it for the "sock punishment" - haaaaaaaaaaaa!!!! xoxoxoxoxo
ReplyDeleteBefore even reading this I was going to say you look like a superhero. WOOO!
ReplyDeleteSaving the world one bad-ass cuff at a time. I LOVE red, white and blue combo and cuffs so this outfit saves the world for sure!
