Given that the woman in the photo didn't know it was "Wear Purple Day", and was just wearing what she would usually wear, it removed some of the urgency to post this last Monday. There were some people on campus wearing purple, but overall, I found that few people were aware of the "Shine A Light on Woman Abuse" campaign, which was disappointing given that Western is a community where getting people to wear purple should be a pretty easy thing. The campaign runs for the month of November, so there is still time for you to get your purple porch light bulb or purple t-shirt from the London Abused Women's Centre and show your support. So, back to the outfit--love the distressed purple/pink leather jacket, with the large plum coloured scarf and striped skirt. She looks very comfortable and casual, but with a creative flair.
