The Bike

When I am out for an afternoon with my camera, and the most stylish thing I see is a bicycle, it makes me sad.  Not that I have anything against bicycles, I think they are aesthetically pleasing, especially this one.  However, this blog was originally intended to show off people who have interesting, unique personal style.   Step it up people, I don't want to have to resort to photos of inanimate objects

  1. Not particularly in keeping with the "positive tone" this blog is supposed to have. :( Maybe you should recruit other contributors, since one person can't cover all of London at once, and then there would be more than one opinion of good style.

  2. It was DEAD downtown today...there wasn't anyone out. You didn't miss anything.
The bike was the best pick for today!
    Tomorrow will be better :)

  4. I notice you tend to focus a lot on the north part of downtown a lot and sometimes UWO and Masonville. I'm not denying that there are probably more stylin' people in the north half of the city but there are some cuties in Old South and White Oaks too!

  5. Totally check out old south/wortley village! Or maybe some nightlife? A lot of people who don't dress up for the work hours do for the evenings.

  6. I see fantastic people in Wortley all the time. You should be there with your camera. Or why not follow some of the upcoming events in London that stylish people might be at like LOLA events (one happening this upcoming Thursday at the museum) or things happening at the practice loft, etc.

  8. Thanks for the comments, and the good suggestions. I don't have a car so it makes it difficult to get from one end of the city to another looking for photos when I have limited time to do so. Please see my post from today as to how you can submit photos of stylish people you see in your neighbourhood.

  10. That bike is fantastic, but I must say that I agree with many of the comments posted; there seem to be areas of London populated with stylish people that just aren't represented on this blog, The Village is just one of those places. I also understand that a blog is not a full-time job, so we shouldn't expect the author to travel the city day and night to capture every and all stylish cuties on the streets. I'm just happy that I have a regularly updated blog that watches trends locally that I can check in on . . . in my sweat pants on my day off . . . thanks for posting!

  11. A number of you have mentioned Wortley Village, and for the record, I do visit the Village every so often with my camera, usually to pick up something delicious from the Black Walnut, and to scope out the stuff at Lovesick. But again, it's luck and timing, and when I've been there on a weekend afternoon, I've seen lots of cute dogs, but no one dressed out of the ordinary.
